Liverpool, England
Mr BadDragon’s name is on everones lips as he lead Liverpool to their third Capital One Cup victory in a row. The result was made all that sweater as it was recorded against fierce local rivals Everton.
Liverpool is still in contention in both the League and the Champions League competitions and could record a bumber haul of five trophies this season.

Another Cup in the cabinet. OK, so its not a flash cup, but it is a cup none the less. We have also consolidated our position at the top of the table and are closing in on back to back titles.
Blow by Blow
Champions League – First knockout Round – Leg 1
We faced Basel last season in the group stage and they were pretty effective then.
I have gambled on a full rotation of the side for this match. I am looking for a 2-0 away win to set up the home leg.
Well this was a surprise. Our B Team banged in five away goals which gives us control of the tie.
Champions League Results
Anderlecht got there against Lazio but had to work hard.
PSV pulled off a good win over Barcelona while Juventus and Bayern drew.
Capital One Cup Final
If you are going to play a side in a final as Liverpool manager, Everton is one to battle. I have won it the last two years so it is not a high priority.
In what may amount to a gamble, I field almost the same side that took the field against Basel. The changes are “Trickles” who is getting a send-off in the final, and “Ingvar” who is back from injury.
Three times in a row! And with a backup side as well. What a way to send off “Trickles”
Team News
The fans love the competition and are pleased that we won it again
Capital One Cup Review
Just recapping the competition. Not much more to add.
Premier League – Match 29/38
This is a very important game for us. Win it and we go back to four points clear at the top of the table.
“Nicko” has been in better form than “C.K.” and gets the nod. The rest of the side pick themselves and know what is demanded of them.
We had to work hard for the draw. In the end they shaded us on possession and chances however we got the draw and the vital point.
Premier League – Match 30/38
This is a must not lose game for us. A win would put us five points clear, while a loss would put us second by a point.
I make two changes to the line-up. “C.K.” comes back into the side and “Goose” on left wing. I have told the team to play narrow on the counter.
We got the result we needed. It was a hard fought battle, but in the end we did it.
Results Summary
Four good results for three wins and a draw. We have one foot in the quarter finals with that result.
League Table
Five points clear now with eight games to play. It’s ours to lose.
Next Episode
Into the home stretch we have the second leg against Palace and three premier league games.
