Liverpool threw caution to the wind in a spectacular second half to defeat hated rivals Manchester United 7-3 on aggregate. The win sees The Reds into the champions league final for the first time under Mr BadDragon’s leadership.
Liverpool Manager, Mr BadDragon, appeared to have let things slip as he allowed the United side to dominate the first half and at halftime the tie was locked up 3-3. A storming performance after the break saw The Reds bag four unanswered goals to defeat their bitter rivals.

We are into the final which is pretty cool. Now we have to beat last seasons champions, Real Madrid. This is the same Real Madrid side which put paid to the Chelsea side who put eight goals past us in the semi final.
Blow by Blow
Champions League – Semi Final – Leg 2
Déjà vu all over again. Only the colour of the shirts are different. Last season Chelsea came and opened a can of woop-ass on us – this will not happen this year.
I have gone with old faithful – could this be a mistake? I plan on starting the game in a 4-1-4-1 configuration so “Oos” gets the nod over “Naert” for that reason.
We started off a touch too cautiously and at half time United were leading 2-1 and level in the tie. I threw caution to the wind and we bagged four unanswered goals in the second half.
We are in the final!
Champions League Results
The defending champions Real Madrid proved too strong for Anderlecht.
Just recapping the result of our match in case you had forgotten.
Champions League Final Draw
We have squared up against Real Madrid a couple of seasons ago in the group stage. They are defending champions and have to be taken very seriously
Premier League – Match 35/38
Due to the vagaries of the fixture Gods we get to face Manchester United again in four days with nothing riding on the match except pride.
Two changes from the Champions League match with “Naert” in for “Oos” and “Mookee” in for “Hero” who is struggling for fitness.
“Naert”looked very good in the inside forward role and bagged himself a hat-trick. We took the game to them and looked good in doing so.
“Tan” has been my player of the season thus far. When he is on the pitch we look a much better side.
700 games in management is a pretty good career to date. I see no reason to stop working. Bring on 800!
Premier League – Match 36/38
The only thing left to play for is keeping sharpness for the Champions League Final. This is our last mid-week game for the season.
Slight rotation to freshen up the players. “Nicko”, “Goose”, and “Hero” come in. “Nicko” has not kicked on and may ne under investigation moving forward.
We played pretty well once I told the boys to attack! I think we are a good enough side that we can play on Control from the start.
A niggle just at the wrong time for us. I was on the verge of him potentially starting the Champions League Final.
F.A. Cup Final
Chelsea proved sufficiently strong to run out as winners in a tight affair.
Premier League – Match 37/38
Cardiff City are in danger of relegation. Unfortunately we will not be taking it easy on them.
“Hero” seems to be struggling with fitness and may be slipping off the top form wise.
Three goals in the final 10 minutes saw us come out comfortable 4-0 winners. I have an idea on how I am going to approach the final now.
Premier League – Match 38/38
Last time out against Crystal Palace we lost the game which brought to an end our perfect run. Time for payback.
“Ingvar” has been asking for some games, and I’ve given him the season finale.
A nice way to finish the match off. Again we stretched them, and the switched up to a 4-3-1-2 to finish off the match.
We turned in a good final run to finish the last month undefeated.
We finished with 104 points, winning the league by 16 points. Manchester United and Chelsea were in the mix as per usual.
Only one game left. The most important one of the season!
