Liverpool continue to be flat in the league, and have been dropping points in key matches. With news of a takeover in the wind, it will be interesting whether the pressure gets to Mr BadDragon. The New Zealander exudes a calmness that is needed at this level and has transformed the Reds from triers to doers in his first four years at the club.

I can’t put my finger on what is happening with our league form. We are undefeated, and yet we have struggled to win key games. It is almost as if we are relaxing too much and think that the job will do itself.
Blow by Blow
“Naert” picks up a bang to the elbow which will keep him out for two weeks. Bummer.
Premier League – Match 8/38
A road trip to wales after the international break with us needing a win to stay in touch with Chelsea.
We field a slightly experimental lineup as I want to hit the next two matches hard. The side I have fielded should still be good enough to win.
Another abject performance by “Hero” sees us stumble to a draw. Chelsea drew so it represents a wasted opportunity to get back into the game.
Champions League – Group B – Match 3/6
This is an absolute must win game. We need three points to get off the bottom of the table.
Close to a full strength side with the surprise move “K.A.A.” coming in at DM for the day.
We did what we needed to and scored a good win. A fine hat-trick for prolific right winger “Slalom” made sure of all three points.
Champions League Results
This round produced a number of upsets. Manchester United went down to Hajduk Split and PSV went down to Hibernian
Lokomotiv Moskou pulled two goals back to draw with Dortmund. Other than that games went as expected.
Premier League – Match 9/38
This is a very important match in the context of the league. We need a win to prevent them pulling away.
This is the side that is going to get us there. I may be starting with the wingers back a bit.
Another wasted opportunity. We just don’t have it going on this season.
Well this is interesting. Lets keep an eye on what happens.
Capital One Cup – 4th Round
We should be able to advance here. I have to rest some players though so nothing is guaranteed.
This is the side I have gone with for this match. Can we bring home the win?
I think we can! We put in a good performance and banged in four unanswered goals. Champion!
Another disappointing pair of draws in the league. The title repeat is slipping away I fear.
We have slipped back into third place. It’s not too late to turn things around.
Champions League – Group B
We have moved up into second spot, but only just. There is still some work to be done.
Another big series with Arsenal, Dundalk, and then Manchester United.
