Liverpool, England
Welcome to Stadio Guiseppe Meazza where we are about to witness a titanic struggle between two heavyweights in European Football. These two sides have won the trophy a total of eighteen times, with Liverpool winning the only time they met in the final in 1981.
Both sides have been impressive this season
Sergio Garcia joined Real Madrid in 2024 as a replacement for the legendary Pietro Prevedini who retired in 2023. In that time he has seen his side win the Liga BBVA three times, along with three domestic cup victories.
Last season he led Real Madrid to victory in this competition defeating high flying Chelsea on penalties in a tense affair. They also went on to win the club world cup this season.
Mr BadDragon is a relative newcomer to English football having joined Liverpool in 2025. His Liverpool team have won the Premier League, the Capital One Cup, and the Community Shield this season so are no strangers to big matches.
He is no stranger to big matches, having lifted both the African Champions League with Jomo Cosmos in 2018 and the Asian Champions League with the Newcastle United Jets in 2021.
His career has been that of a perennial jet-setter having managed in no fewer than seven countries over the past fifteen seasons.

Match Buildup
The first thing I notice is how hard they are to break down late in the game. We will need to get ahead early and make them come to us.
They line up in a 4-4-1-1 which makes me think they will play on the counter.
Liam Bell is a USA representative who has played 128 times for his country. He plays on the right wing so we will have to look out for him.
Previous Meetings
In recent times there is nothing between these two sides
The last meetings were in the group stage where we took things a little easy in the second leg.
Champions League Final
The bookies like us and think we have a decent chance. I am happy with the preparation and the side is ready to go.
There is nothing between the two sides. I have a plan in mind on how I want to attack them. This is not a game to sit back and defend.
We have selected the same side that brought us there. At this stage I see no value in chopping and changing.
We scored first in both halves and both times they came back at us to equalize. It was a tough tough battle which was in the end decided by a late penalty which “Naert” converted. We dug in and defended for the last eight minutes to claim the title.
It was a hard fought match which we edged slightly on the day. I can’t say it wasn’t tense, but strangely enough it was not as tense as some of the lead up matches.
Post Match
Well that sums up a great season. We picked up four out of five trophies on offer, including the big one!
It is always good to please the fans. In the end we win the trophies for them as well as us.
It is good to keep onside with the man who pays your wages as well.
