Liverpool, England
In form Liverpool have moved within touching distance of the Premier League title with a good series of results. This included an impressive 4-0 victory over struggling Arsenal and narrow victories against West Ham United and Wigan Athletic.
Sandwiched between these fixtures the reds managed a credible 2-0 victory over title chasing Chelsea at Anfield. That result sees Liverpool with one foot in the semi-finals, although who could forget last season where they were destroyed in the second leg of the semi final by this same opposition.

Another four matches where results went in our favour. Aside from the Arsenal fixture, this month was an intense battle that we at times struggled to get results. When faced with adversity, good teams find a way to win, and we have the makings of a good team.
Blow by Blow
Premier League – Match 29/38
On the road to Olympic Stadium to face West Ham in the first match of the set.
Two changes with young “Diogo” and “Mookee” in for “Naert” and “Oos”.
We got the result however we looked a little disorganised in front of goal. “Diogo” impressed and he will feature heavily in my plans for next season.
Premier League – Match 30/38
This match promises to be a good one. Arsenal have been hard to break down, and have caused us real pain over the past few years.
Two changes see “Naert” start on the left and “Ingvar” replace “K.A.A.” at the back.
We put in a really top draw effort to beat the hapless Arsenal side comfortably in the end. Arsenal is on the cusp of relegation which would be a real shock for them.
Youth Intake
“Studs” is the best of the bunch. Not sure he is first team quality, but may have good on-sell potential.
Premier League – Match 31/38
United dropped a game at Chelsea so that means we need ten points to win the title from eight games.
We field a second strength team with Chelsea to follow mid-week.
We did it tough today. In the end it took a fantastic goal from young “Stipe” to break the deadlock and give us the points.
Champions League – Quarter final – Leg 1
In the semi final last season Chelsea destroyed us at home. I will not allow that to happen tonight.
“Oos” gets one final chance to redeem himself with “Hero” almost back to full fitness.
We worked hard this game and effectively shut down Chelsea’s offence. We poached a couple of good goals and head to the away leg knowing that a draw will be sufficient to advance.
Champions League Results
PSG did enough to get a narrow win at home against Real Madrid.
Draws all round however Manchester United did bag the important away goal.
Results Summary
Another four victories see us in commanding positions in the Premier League and Champions League.
League Table
The title is all but in the bag. Seven points needed from seven games.
Next Episode
Next episode should see us wrap up the league and advance in the Champions League. if we advance, this episode will have an extra game.
