Chelsea administered a savage beating to a helpless Reds outfit in the Champions League Semi Final. If it was a boxing match it would have been stopped after 20 minutes. Liverpool were unable to defend themselves and Mr BadDragon looked powerless to do anything about it.
This has raised serious questions about his ability as a manager, and there is rumours that the board are actively seeking a replacement. I for one wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him replaced as his lack of ability has been on display since he first arrived in Europe.

Thanks Bob. Now I know why I so look forward to your comments. He did get one thing right. I was powerless to turn things around. When your whole team decides to have a bad day all at once, and you only have three subs there is not much you can do. Fair play to Chelsea. They were good on the day.
Still that result doesn’t define a season, and on the whole we were very good. We are still not quite there as a side and there will be a few changes made to fix a few weaknesses.
Blow by Blow
Premier League – Match 35/38
It’s a rare situation to have four games remaining in the league and knowing that the games don’t overly matter.
Another heavy rotation. I have two undecided positions in my best team – box-to-box midfield and left inside forward.
We were the better side as far as chances created, however we lacked the finishing necessary to put them away. With us resting most of my first team, I will take the point.
“Brunet” has been a good backup Strike and his loss for the season will be felt hard.
Champions League Scores
In a tight contest, Real Madrid reach the final on away goals.
Champions League – Semi Final – Leg 2
We are not favoured for this match. It is a little too close to call. We are here on merit and while I will be disappointed to lose it won’t be the end of the world.
I asked my assistant for his opinion of the best starting line-up, and agreed with his decision. The only change I made was 17 year old “Kevster” on the bench as striker cover.
I don’t know what to say here. We were awful. No wait. Worse than awful. There is not much more to say. We conceded 2 goals in 6 minutes, and four in first half hour. Game over. End of report.
Not much more to say than ugh. Lets move along.
Premier League – Match 36/38
We have to bounce back after last match. Team morale has taken a dip and we have to build it back up. We have dropped to 4th place but have games in hand.
“Slalom” returns to the starting line-up, with “Oos” preferred to “Naert”. “Dari” replaces “Ferran” at right back.
Well as far as turn arounds go, this wasn’t bad. It certainly helped to build up the morale.
Premier League – Match 37/38
Two league games to go. Second place on the table, and European participation locked up for next season. Lets get the job done.
“Tan” makes his return from injury, as we rotate some players to keep them fresh.
The return of “Tan” to the midfield made the team look much more solid on attack. “Vince” is looking likely to drop down the pecking order as “Ingvar” and “Ni Cole” are playing very well.
That’s a weight off. Now all we have to do is focus on the last game of the season, and finish on a high note!
Premier League – Match 38/38
Final match of the League Season. One point guarantees us second place for the second season running.
Finish the season with the best side on the park. “Tan” is getting back to full fitness, although “Flavio” is not back and is in doubt.
Well we did the job and finished with a good win. “Oos” picked up a well deserved hat-trick. One complaint is that we lacked something in the second half.
Putting the aberration of the Europa League result aside, it was a successful end to the Premier League season.
We secure second place rather comfortably. We have a little work to do in the off season, however I am mostly happy with how we are going.
