Liverpool end November on top of the Premier League table, level with Manchester United on points. United do have a game in hand, however. The points dropped at United highlights what is perhaps Liverpool’s weakness of dropping points at inopportune times. Will they have the ability to hold on, or will they fall by the wayside again.

Much is made of out inability to hold on. Lets just point out that we are undefeated in all competitions this season. True we have dropped some points. We have always advanced the points totals in all matches we have played. Lets get to the mid-season break and see where we are at then.
Blow by Blow
Premier League – Match 11/38
Last time out against Tottenham they ended our title race. It is imperative that we don’t let them impair this years campaign as well.
We field the same side as that which took on PSG. We have a couple of slightly tired players, however we need to keep winning.
We made it a battle, getting up 2-0 in the first half only to let them back into it in the second. In the end we were probably the better side and deserved all three points.
Not the sort of news we wanted days out from the Manchester United game. At least it is only a slight niggle so not the end of the world.
Premier League – Match 12/38
This is the big match of the season thus far. A win will pull us level, a loss will distance us again.
“C.K.” and “Lazar” are bot struggling for fitness and need a rest, so “Vince” and “Nicko” will start today.
“Flavio” put in a poor performance gifting United two goals. We went 2-0 down early and managed to pull it back to 3-2. The “Flavio” error cost us an important three points.
Champions League – Group H – Match 5/6
Next up is a visit to Kaiserslautern which on usual days should be a win. We are struggling with injuries and fitness of key players so the team is highly rotated.
The team fielded is definitely has a second string feel about it. “Flavio”‘s position in the team is under fire following the shocking match he had against United.
A six goal bonanza which allowed us to rest players and still get the win. I have a few ideas on changes to the side for the rest of the campaign in light of what I have been seeing.
Champions League Scores
Valencia gave Dortmund an old-fashioned spanking while PSV consigned PSG to the Europa League.
Nothing much in the way of surprises here with the teams expected to win, winning.
“Sindy” is a talented youngster however he will not be in the mix once “Ferran” returns.
Premier League – Match 13/38
Next up are Southampton who are struggling this season. We need to keep the momentum going and keep accumulating points.
“Tan” is being played as the deep lying forward, a position which I think he could make his own.
If I was “Flavio” I would be looking over my shoulder nervously. “Stipe” has bagged seven goals in five games and there is a possibility he will end the season as number one left back.
Another great series of results with the only blot being the bad showing by “Flavio” against United.
We are sitting top due to United having a game in hand. All we can control is winning our matches – the rest in in the lap of the Gods.
Champions League – Group H
Not much to say. PSG have been a huge disappointment.
First or second? That is the question to be decided next episode!
