Liverpool manager Mr BadDragon will be hoping that he can turn things around in his third season in charge at Anfield. He has yet to win any silverware and there are murmurings that maybe the owners will be looking to make a change if he fails to produce this time around.
Mr BadDragon has not been helped with a very tough draw in the opening rounds of the Premier League. How they handle themselves will be a good indicator of just how well his side has progressed in the last three seasons.

I have to agree with that assessment. It is not the start I would have wanted. That being said, a solid start will set the tone for the season and maybe we can make it our season this year.
Blow by Blow
This guy looks reasonably good. He drove a hard bargain, however I am happy. Three years plus three year extension for someone my scouts rate as the number three striker at the club.
“Ostariz” has been a good servant to the club, however his performances last season were below the standard that I demand and it was time for him to leave.
“Nika Kika” decided that he wanted a new challenge and as I was down with that. I disagree that the fee was too low as there were no people interested in offering more.
“Josef” had reached a plateau and was never going to be good enough for the first team. We bagged a tidy profit on him.
Pre Season Results
First friendly results in a comfortable win.
A hat-trick for “Naert” was the catalyst in another good victory.
“Tan” and “Naert” were among the goals as we beat D.C. United.
We started out a bit rough and were trailing at the break. Once we levelled the scores it was one way traffic.
Again we conceded the early goal. This time however we struck back almost immediately and looked fairly safe from about the half hour mark.
This was our best performance of the pre-season. “Naert” and “Hero” scored hat-tricks in a demolition of Mechelen.
When you have a player sent off in the 18th minute and go behind from the resulting penalty you don’t expect to win 9-1. A satisfying way to end the pre-season.
Neither “Bergui” nor “Den” are going to be getting any serious playing time this season. It made sense to replace them with my preferred options.
A very solid pre-season campaign including some serious manhandling of Roma and Mechelen. The side is in top form and largely injury free.
What a draw. Arsena, Chelsea and Manchester City in the first three weeks of the season. Ugh…
