Liverpool continue to perform well under Mr BadDragon and find themselves sitting comfortably in third place in the table. Whatever magic wand Mr BadDragon has appears to be working.
There are those who are not convinced. They point out that BadDragon has not lasted more than three seasons in charge of a club. I believe the jury is out!

We are slowly gaining on the pack. My plan is to prioritise the Premier League over everything else. If we do that we should be able to start attracting top players as we will be able to offer the lure of Champions League football.
Blow by Blow
Champions League Draw
We have drawn Juventus in the first knock-out round of the competition. We have a big name season going on this year.
Premier League – Match 17/38
Manchester City come to town. The Citizens are challenging for the title and will not be an easy opponent.
We line up in the 4-2-3-1 formation on paper, however I may switch things out before kick-off.
We performed very well and the side is starting to gel with the new tactic. “Sim” deserved credit for a commanding performance in goal where he bailed us out on at least three occasions.
Premier League – Match 18/38
This match sees us face off against a West Brom team who are sitting comfortably in mid table.
We field an unchanged starting line-up, with the only differences being on the bench where a couple of the usual backup players are on reserve duty.
We looked very good in patches although our passing left a little to be desired at times. “Hero” has been an inspired signing and looked dangerous at almost evry turn.
“Tan” can’t buy a break with injury this season. Having just returned from a broken leg, he is now out for 2 weeks with a bad cut.
“Birigui” sets a new league appearance record for the side.
Premier League – Match 19/38
The next visitor to Anfield are Spurs who are sitting in mid table following a recent run of average results.
Only one change to the starting line-up with “Goose” replacing the injured “Tan”.
We had a bad time with our shooting today, and failed to create enough good quality chances. The trend of bossing one game only to slump the next is why we are not yet title challengers.
Premier League – Match 20/38
The final match of the year sees us host Watford. After a draw in week one it will be good to follow up with a victory here.
Back to old faithful for this match. A slight rotation due to player fatigue.
It wasn’t pretty, but it didn’t need to be. A win is more important than the manner of the victory and we end the year in third place.
“Naert” picks up a gashed leg which will keep him out for a couple of weeks.
Well we got the three wins I was targeting, plus a bonus draw. Nothing too wrong with that.
Sitting comfortably in third place as we turn for home.
Wrexham in the F.A.Cup plus three league fixtures.
