Liverpool, England
Liverpool have pulled off the unthinkable by first thumping Chelsea and then winning all of their remaining matches to finish third. Mr BadDragon is the toast of Merseyside, and rightly so.
Considering that he was one defeat away from the sack after a woeful start, the result speaks volumes for his ability to rally the troops and deliver the results when needed. It remains to be seen how well he does when he takes the side into Europe this season.

What a finish! We were a force to be reckoned with and did exactly what we needed to do. Arsenal couldn’t live with us and folded meekly on the final day.
Blow by Blow
Premier League – Match 35/38
We have struggled on the road this season, and going to Chelsea may prove to be to big of a nut to crack.
I have decided to stick with the same side from the Everton game. I feel they offer the best option to get a result here.
An unbelievable result! We absolutely destroyed the soon to be crowned champions in one of the most amazing results of the season.
This result means we did the double over them! It was the win against Chelsea which turned the season around for us.
Premier League – Match 36/38
There can be no margin for error when we travel to take on the Foxes. We need to win all our remaining games and hope Arsenal slip up.
No changes made for the third match in a row. It is a bit of a gamble given the fixture congestion but one I feel I have to take.
We did what we had to do, and got all three points. The injury to “Loz” is a concern.
Injury Update
“Loz” is out for the rest of the season. We will have to do it without him.
Premier League – Match 37/38
The penultimate game. We are in third but Arsenal have a game in hand. It is going to come down to the wire.
The only change sees “Naert” taking the place of the injured “Loz”. Dig deep and lets do it!
We went behind when we were a man down at the back and poor “G.I. Joe” was caught in a 2 on 1. An own goal and a penalty proved sufficient for us to burgle th three points. We were due some luck though!
League News
Last match coming up and I just need to win to finish third. Simple really.
Premier League – Match 38/38
Watford are going to be up for this game as they want to do well. We need to find a way to win.
We field the same team as we have for the past three games. Somehow I managed to completely forget to grab the screenshot!
We made it tough for ourselves but in the end we did enough. Arsenal failed to win their match and so we ended up in third place without the need for tie-breakers.
Results Summary
We kept our nerve and won all of the last four matches to take maximum points.
League Table
Arsenal slipped up at the very end and we slid up into third place.
Team Stats
Initial Budgets
I can’t complain about that. 45 million will allow me to do some serious buying of youth players.
Premier League Review
Just confirming that Chelsea was that good. However we did the double over them so I feel good about that.
Player of the Year
No surprise that “Loz” is named player of the year.
Team of the Year
I am surprised that “Nika Kika” was preferred over “G.I. Joe”. other than that there is no real surprises.
Next Episode
We will be bringing in the new season with all comings and goings.
