Anderlecht, Belgium
Anderlecht have continued to drive all before them this season. They sit atop both Champions League Group A And the Jupiler Pro league and it looks like only Genk promise to be a real challenge. While the season is still young it would be a brave man who would bet against them.

I am rather pleased with the performance. I have been able to rotate the side and keep all of my players fit while not suffering a drop off in results. Very pleasing indeed.
So sit back and see how the last four matches unfolded.
Blow by Blow
Cofidis Cup – 6th Round
This is a game we should be winning. I won’t be taking it too lightly.
“Trickles” is suspended for this match, So “Alex” and “Doctor” partner “Nemby” in the midfield. “S.V.H.”, “Ziz”, and “Menace” get some time at the back.
We played pretty well. Three first half goals and then coasted to a comfortable win. Our finishing wasn’t that great today.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 8/30
It’s that mad time of year where we play two games a week! Next up we have Gent, who are no push-overs.
Picked the side on fitness. “Xu” and “Baby Face” lead the line.
Mission accomplished, without injury or suspension to boot. “C.K.” played well, and “Xu” put in a good shift.
Cofidis Cup Draw – 7th Round
The draw has been done and we are away at Charleroi. This won’t be an easy game.
Champions League – Group A – Match 2/6
Next up in the group stage we have Olympiakos. It is early days in the group however a win will lay down the marker.
No real surprises in the selection. “Rommel” is starting to cement his position at the back for us.
We were made to work hard for the win. In the end it took a moment of brilliance from “Benny Jets” to break the deadlock.
Champions League Results
Genk got a good result with an exciting 3-3- draw against PSV. Celtic beating Bayern is a big result, while Lille holding Barcelona to a draw stands out.
Dortmund and PSG look in good nick.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 9/30
Zulte Waregem are knocking on the door of the top six and are sitting ahead of Club Brugge and Standard Liege.
We have an almost fully rotated side due to players being fatigued. “Vert” and “Jarhead” are called up from the under 21’s squad to ride the pine.
At times it was a struggle, however the side we sent out finally showed their class and came away with the win. A double for “Baby Face” and three assists for player of the match “Carlier” were the performances of note.
Team News
Results Summary
Four wins in a row across all three competitions is a nice haul.
League Table
Top of the pile, however only by the slimest of margins. Genk are sticking with us and will push us all the way
Champions League Group A
This group is turning into a two horse race. We have Juventus next in a match which will go a long way towards deciding the final positions.
Next Episode
Three League fixtures along with the key Juventus match-up.
