Mr BadDragon has led his Anderlecht side to back to back title wins. The defending champions overcame a disappointing mid season slump which appeared to have opened the door to Genk. However a good run of wins saw them slam the door firmly in their rivals faces.

We did what we needed to do and were assisted by a slump in form by Genk were the only team with a chance of catching us.

Seven games to go and this is a crucial game for our title run. Win this and we are six points clear with six to play.
Once again we field what I consider to be my best side. “Goose” makes his return to the bench following injury.
We did exactly what we needed and bagged all three points. I feel we have one hand on the trophy now.

Next up is Mons which is a game we should be winning. Mons are in 6th place and really should not offer a challenge.
Our side is picked on condition alone, and “Menace” gets a rare start for the season.
Mission accomplished. Five games to play and eight points clear as Genk draw their match against Club Brugge.

Manchester City got a good win against Chelsea while keeping that all important clean sheet.
Porto dealt the chances of an all Manchester Final a blow when the defeated United 2-0 at home.

Next up we have Club Brugge who did us the favour by holding Genk to a draw. We need to avoid a similar fate.
“Rommel” is knocking on the first team door and may well have earned number two status in the team pecking order.
We did what we needed to, and Genk slipped up losing 3-1 to Standard Liege. We are eleven points clear and can wrap up the title with a win in the next match.
Well done to young “Westie” who sets a new team record.

Ten man Porto become the first team into the final as they go through with a tight 0-0 draw away. Bustos will miss the final having been sent off after 18 minutes.

One game to play and a point will see us unable to be overtaken. With a goal difference of +74 vs Genks +41 level on points equals a win!
We field the same XI from the match against Club Brugge. Can we get the win to wrap up the title?
We had to work hard for our first goal, however when it came the fight went out of Standard de Liege. We banged in two additional goals just to be safe!
Genk then managed to draw their game so even a loss would have been sufficient to win the title.
Back to back titles is a nice thing to achieve.
Its always good to keep your employers onside as well. I have noticed that winning things does make a difference.
Four wins in a row was enough to get the job done.
