The usually parsimonious Anderlecht conceded an alarming five goals in 10 minutes to suffer a comprehensive defeat against Charleroi ith their Jupiler Pro League fixture. Anderlecht has the game comfortably under control before a shocking collapse saw them bomb out in spectacular fashion.
Critics of BadDragon have been calling for his head, although it will take more than one poor result to unseat him.

It was one game! Only one game! Admittedly we fell apart, but we shouldn’t be to concerned. The main fact is we must stabilize the situation and move on.
Blow by Blow
Jupiler Pro League – Match 23/30
First up we have Westerlo. Predicted to finish 14th they are sitting in 11th place and looking solid.
Keeping up the squad rotation as I work on developing the up and coming young players.
Once again we were less that impressive and struggled to put the game to bed.
Internazionale came calling. I didn’t bother attending the interview as I am not really looking to move clubs at this time. The only club I will look at moving to is Liverpool as I am committed to a four year hitch with Anderlecht.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 24/30
Next up we face Mons who are surprising everyone with their performances this season.
We rotate our side slightly while still preserving a solid core. We need to play better than we have been.
The red card set the tone for the game and despite us not playing well, we did enough to get three points.
“Xu” discovered he had a groin muscle which hurts when it goes pop! luckily striker is a position where I have plenty of cover.
“Moose” also picked up a knock which will sideline him for 2 weeks. Again he is not a core player so we will get by.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 25/30
Charleroi have always been difficult opposition and we will need to play well today to take all three points.
I select another rotated side in the interest of getting everyone game time.
We lost the plot big time, conceding 5 goals in the final ten minutes. I am not sure what happened, only that we fell apart in spectacular fashion.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 26/30
We need to turn things around. I may have been guilty of taking the last game too lightly, so it is time to get serious!
I field my top side here, including “Baby Face” partnering “Benny Jets” up front.
What a game! We went 2-0 up after 10 mins, only to be pegged back after the break. With the game level, I brought on “Lembi” for “Westie” and that change turned the game on its head.
“Lembie” bagged two and added an assist as we kicked on to run out comfortable winners.
Truckles picked up a one game ban which will see him miss the Leuven game. Not a big deal as he probably wouldn’t have been playing that one anyhow.
A good series of results, if you put the Charleroi result aside.
We are still comfortably on top, however the lead has been cut slightly.
Next up is the Champions League Knockout first leg and the Cofidis Cup Semi Final Second Leg. It’s going to be huge.
