Anderlecht, Belgium
Anderlecht appear to have gained a solid lead at the top of the Jupiler Pro League following a great run of form. This seasons favourites are undefeated for the year and now stand 10 points clear of Standard Liege.
With their win against Lokeren, Anderlecht have locked in their participation in the championship round. The impressive feat is that they have done this with six matches to go.

Well there you have it. Couldn’t have said it better myself. We have been preforming really well and find ourselves comfortably on top of the league table. I am not getting carried away as we still have a mountain of work to do.
Blow by Blow
New Signing
“Westie” was released by my predecessor and i managed to lure him back into the fold. He could be a good backup plater at AM(C)
Team News
These two players will be out for four league matches. While not ideal, there is not a lot I can do about it.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 21/30
This match has a bearing on the top of the table. Last time out we managed a 2-0 victory against the. I would like to think that we are a better side now.
We are missing “Moose”, “Benny Jets”, “C.K.” and “Mookie” on international duty. “Andre” is still 2 weeks away from returning following his injury. I am forced to start “Petit” and “Lembi” up top.
We showed a lack of killer instinct up top without “Benny Jets” to lead the line. We missed the best chance of the match at the end, but the draw was a fair result.
Injury Update
“Munster” has picked up another knock.
New Signing
“Trickles” Brook was a key player for my jets side and has improved in the intervening 12 months since he was last under my command. He comes in as my number two wide central midfielder and can play either role I am using.
Player Sold
Hun was not getting any games and was not likely to get much more. He came to me and said he wanted game time, so I offered to let him leave.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 22/30
Club Brugge is our next opponent. They are sitting in 4th place and will prove to be a tough challenge.
We are missing “Benny Jets”, “Mookee”, “C.K.” and “Moose” on international duty. “Munster” and “Andre” are back training but not yet fit. We are light in the striking department.
Despite our shortage of strikers we managed to finish two chances.
Injury Update
Annoying but not the end of the world. I do have cover for “Moose”.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 23/30
We are in Indian country this week as we travel to KAA Gent. 18 games unbeaten is a good run. It will be good to extend the run.
“Trickles” is given a start at DLP today, while “Andre” is back in at left fullback.
We went 2-0 up and were coasting only to concede two goals mid way through the second half. Luckily “Lembi” bagged the winner late on.
Player Sold
“Petit” is on a plane to Valencia. He was going to be leaving at the end of the season anyway, and we couldn’t turn down 36 million.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 24/30
Last game of the episode and month sees us host Sporting Lokeren in another game we should win.
“Mookee” is back but rather tired so I have sent him on holiday for a week. “Westie” is coming in to replace the newly departed “Petit”. Big shoes to fill. “Alberto” has been complaining and so gets a start.
Well this game went well. “Westie” put in a good shift and bagged a couple of goals.
Results Summary
Three wins and a draw in the league has seen us consolidate the top position.
League Table
Ten points clear at the top is a good place to be. Six games to go before the Championship Group splits off for the final run into the end of the season.
Next Episode
Three relatively easy league games and the opening Champions League match.
