High Flying Anderlecht hit unexpected turbulence and crashed out of the Cofidis Cup at the hands of Oud-Haverlee Leuven. The result has devastated supporters who were already making plans to attend the final.
New manager Anderlecht, Mr BadDragon, is reportedly disappointed the turn of events.

Disappointed? Yeah I guess so. We were better than the result suggested and missed so many chances to win the match. In the end it is only one competition, and we are still alive in two others.
Blow by Blow
The dreaded chat happened sooner than I would have liked. Based on the options in the negotiation, once you try to convince them to stay you can’t fall back to let them go at end of season. I decided to just try that tack and it worked, so “Petit” will be leaving in July. I hope that I can raise 20 million for him.
The battle now is to find his replacement. There are a couple of youth players in the club who will be given chances to impress.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 15/30
Sint-Truiden are the next visitors and it up to us to make their visit unpleasant.
“Mookee” is still in transit back from international duty, “Lambi” is given his 10th start for the season. Both first choice full backs are given the day off.
Neither “Doctor” nor “” are fit enough to start this match so sit the game out.
“Lembi” put in a top performance, bagging himself four goals. For the first time we blanked a team from getting any shots off.
Champions League Group C – Match 5/6
We head into the Wolfs lair to do battle. This will be a difficult game for us to win.
“Mookie” is still on international duty, so “Lembie” and “Benny Jets” will lead the line.
We field the strongest team that we can muster for this game.
We got the point we needed to qualify for the knock-out rounds. While it was tempting to hold back and settle for third place, in the end I decided that we would go for a result and qualify.
The fans are happy with our performance. This is always a good thing.
Cofidis Cup 7th Round
The next round of the Cup sees us drawn against Leuven in a game that we should win.
The only change sees “Doctor” return to the bench in place of “Hun”
“Mookee” is still on international duty so “Lembi” retains his position up front.
We are behind after 22 seconds! We battered them but our defense was awful, and attack impotent. The players insisted on taking pot shots instead of passing.
I am disappointed by the performance today. We just were not on to it and missed too many chances.
Munster is back finally from injury which gives us more options at AM(C)
Jupiler Pro League – Match 15/30
We are looking to bounce back after our cup disappointment.
We have made a few changes today in an attempt to keep the troops fresh.
“Kai” gets a rare start for the side. He has been transfer listed, however I have decided to keep him here for another season as cover for the departing “Petit”
We produce a solid performance and earn ourselves a nice 2-0 win. The run of clean sheets continues as well.
A good series of results aside from the loss in the cup.
We are sitting on top by a narrow margin. I am happy with how the league is going.
Champions League Group C
We are still top by virtue of goal difference. Last match will decide the final standings.
A bumper edition into the end of the year, with five fixtures including the last group match.
