Mr BadDragon’s Anderlecht side continue to surprise and find themselves on top of both the Jupiler Pro League as well as Group C of the Champions League. They have gone on a 12 match unbeaten run in all competitions and are looking in good shape to progress from their group.
There are certain members of the press who believe that this is aberration. I like to believe that maybe they are the real deal and should be considered one of the favourites for the title.

I can’t find fault with what she is saying. We are where we are because we are performing well. The big question is do we want to win our group? Would we be better off finishing third and going deep in the Europa league instead. I can’t really decide which way to play it, so while I ponder my answer sit back and read through the happenings.
Blow by Blow
When coaching at Cosmos I noticed that they produced the odd gem . I sent the scouts over there and noticed “Ziz”. I decided that he was worth a punt.
This is a disappointing loss for us. It’s not the end of the world, rather an annoyance that we have to work around.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 9/30
Zulte are sitting in 8th place and represent a team we have to beat to keep the run going.
We taken a punt against Zulte with a pair of backup strikers playing. “Petit” is back from injury and makes a start.
We almost dropped all three points, and it took a 93rd minute goal from a corner to preserve one point.
We looked pretty average and I let the team know exactly that.
Champions League – Group C – 3/6
The return of “G.C.” makes for an interesting story sub plot in what counts as a must win game for us. We also get to see “Grigorjevs” again.
I’m not sure why “G.C.” wanted to leave us, because the club he went to was not much bigger than us. Still it will be nice to see him again (as long as we win!).
Once again the number one line up comes out. I am looking to see “Mookee” catch fire and start scoring for us.
A wonderful first half hat-trick by young “Benny Jets” (nickname change!) was sufficient to see us take all three points. This solidifies our place at the top of Group C.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 10/30
We play host to Mons and the bottom dwelling side look ripe for the picking. The game comes hard on the heals of the champions league match and we have some tired legs to consider.
We pull out a fairly heavily rotated squad for this match. “Lembi” partnering “Benny Jets” up front and “Rommel” and “S.V.H.” in at the back.
We did the job we needed to here, and picked up the win. The win puts us on top, however we could be knocked off when Club Bruge play.
The injury to “Moose” comes a a difficult time due to the other injuries in the squad. We will get by ok I think.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 11/30
KV Kortrijk Voetbalt currently sit in 11th place after a mixed start to the season. Last game out they smashed six goals past Leuven which ended a run of three 0-2 losses.
Some more rotation at the back, while “Mookee” comes in to partner “Lembi” up top.
A game of two halves. First half we were bossing the game, but looking lacklustre in front of goal. Second half we banged in five!
Another good run of results, bringing it to a dozen games unbeaten across all competitions.
Charleroi did their part and handed Club Brugge a 2-0 whipping which places us on top of the table. Still a long way to go however.
Champions League Group C
When I saw the draw I never expected to find myself sitting on top of the group. A win in Russia could see us qualify for the knock-out rounds. I was only expecting to be battling for 3rd place.
We have two bottom teams either side of a trip to Russia. After that we have to go visit Gent who are struggling this season but who will be a challenge.
