Mr BadDragon can breathe a sigh of relief as his team is hanging in there despite his best efforts to throw things away. I predict that the cracks are not far from the surface and we will see the experiment revealed for the folly that it is. I have always thought that the hype has hidden the lack of ability that BadDragon really possesses.

That boy needs some special treatment out behind the bike sheds and left in a groaning pile. Oh well, it takes all kinds. Sit back and enjoy the program.
Blow by Blow
Confidis Cup 6th Round
We are taking on Derde Klasse A side KAS Eupen in our first match in the Confidis Cup. Time for some fringe players to get some minutes.
We have taken a big risk with a very inexperienced defence selected, however we have still kept a solid midfield and our two top strikers who need game time to work on their combination.
If I wanted to give “Mookee” some confidence then you cant go past scoring five goals as a way of doing that. He started tow fit in well and looked the part against a sub par Eupen side.
9-1 thumpings tend to break records. No surprises here.
Five goals in a game also tends to have the same effect.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 7/30
Back to the league against Sporting Lokeren. We need to carry on with our good run of form.
They line up against us in a very defensive allignment. I field a good side with “Doctor”, “C.K.”, and “Alex” across the midfield.
A good performance. We battered them, but struggled to put away our chances. 0-0 at the half, and I told the boys I was not impressed. That fired them up and we bagged three in the second.
Confidis Cup 7th Round Draw
The draw is out for the 7th Round and we get Leuven.
Champions League – Group C- Match 2/6
The big one! Sampdoria is a big step up and a team we will struggle to beat. A draw will be a win in this match.
We are second favorite, but were the same against Wolfsburg as well. Time to battle!
Pretty much my top side. I am considering switching up to the 4-3-3 formation as the match progresses.
We got the result we wanted, although I feel it was perhaps dropped points. We had the better chances, however I will take a point.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 8/30
The pundits are predicting an easy game. I am never confident when they do that. I have some tired bodies so will have to change things up.
Same back five, but some changes up front. Mookie is struggling for consistency which is a concern.
We were ugly today, but I’d rather win ugly than lose pretty! “Mookie” got his first league goal which was important, and we get the three points.
“Munster” is out for the rest of this year. Luckily “Petit” is close to resuming training, however we are short quality in the AM(C) position.
“Sid” and “Polo” come in as technical coaches as I look to improve my coaching set-up.
Another good period for us. The highlight being the draw away at Sampdoria, with the 9-1 cup win an honourable mention.
Second by a point with a game in hand. The top four look like starting to open a wee gap.
Champions League Group C
We sit on top of Group C with a creditable four points. I am both surprised and pleased by this turn of events.
The next episode offers a series of games we should win. There is also the tantalising game against Lokomotiv Moskou and the return of fan favourite “G.C.”
