The honeymoon appears to be over for Mr BadDragon. Anderlecht has been struggling in the league, slipping down into 5th place after the first four matches. The one saving grace has been the performance in the Champions League which sees them one win away from the group stage.
Since joining the Belgium giants, Mr BadDragon has made sweeping changes to his squad, which has seen the departures of some popular players. There is a feeling among some supporters that Mr BadDragon has changed too much too soon and has affected the stability of the squad.

Well it has been a battle for us. We did get a credible draw and two valuable away goals in our Champions League match against Valencia. However our league form has been patchy and the general performance has left a bit to be desired. Still the campaign is still young and we have time to develop.
Blow by Blow
Jupiler Pro League – Match 2/30
R Standard de Liege come a visiting in a repeat of the super cup final.
Wholesale changes following on from the Champions League game. Too many to mention even.
We were made to work hard for this result and for long stretches we were the second best team.
In the end we were more dangerous in front of goal and the win was ours.
Rommel is a young player for the future.
“Brou” was surplus to requirements and so it was time for him to make room for “Rommel”
Jupiler Pro League – Match 3/30
Yellow Red KV Mechelen are sitting in 10th place in the table which makes us favoured for the game.
Back to fielding a fill strength side. Rotating the bench slightly. Munster is back in the starting eleven as G.C. has asked to leave.
We hit the post four times in the match and were generally all over them but crap in front of goal.
Champions League Best Placed Playoff Leg 1
We are lining up against Valencia in what will be a tricky tie. We need to play better than we did last time out.
Its going to be a good match. The away goal will prove crucial in this tie.
A change of formation today. The other formation isn’t working due to being unfamiliar.
We played pretty well and looked good for the draw. Both sides had chances to steal the game late however neither were able to seal the deal.
“Andre” looks like a top player at left full back. “Murua” has been making too many errors and we needed stability in that position.
“Doctor” Watson comes in as a top class midfielder. I am still working out my best formation and line up for the side.
“G.C” decided that he wanted a bigger club, and I couldn’t talk him into sticking about. Better to get the money in for him I thought.
Jupiler Pro League – Match 4/30
Charleroi are sitting behind us in 3rd place and should be a tough match-up for us.
Once again I come out with the 4-3-1-2, with both new signings starting today.
We were not composed enough in front of goal tonight, and once again we didn’t take the chances on offer.
Still it’s not all bad. We are creating chances, we just are not quite managing to finish the chances we create.
We didn’t kick on as well as I would have liked in the league. The Valencia draw was a positive result, however.
Sitting in fifth place which is not where we really want to be. Still we are only one win off top place so it’s not crisis time yet.
The Champions League Leg 2 and then three more league games. All very important.
