The dream run continues. We are still top of the league and still alive in the cup. I am proud of how the boys have been playing and how the season is progressing. There has been the odd slip but that is to be expected at the level we play at.
First up is Trimboli who came crying to me saying he missed Australia – I sent the poor boy home to mummy to get his shit together!
We get to the mid season break and lose Leon Schneider injured for 5 weeks with twisted ankle. He has been the rock in the defence and will be sorely missed. We have also lost midfielder Park Jeong-Min for six weeks, but that isn’t a great loss as we have plenty of depth at central midfield.
Showing you this to give you an indication of how the next month looks. Two games a week is no joke at this level.
We have reached the third-way point in the league, and we are in top place. Dropping that game has seen us slip back slightly although we are still five points clear at the top.
Interesting that both dynamos and Tonbridge have vacancies. Both teams I have managed before. Tempting to apply but the goal is to do new stuff this time around.
Three league wins, one draw, and a disappointing loss where we played really badly. Nestled in there was a good cup win against Daegu to see us through to the 4th round.

Bucheon Football Club 1995 0-1 Goyang Hi FC
Bucheon 1995’s match against Goyang Hi FC will have been a moment Bucheon 1995’s Jung Kwang-Ho will want to forget as he suffered defeat at the hands of his former club.
Goyang Hi FC’s winner came through Leon Schneider as he seized on Son Sang-Chul’s mistake to score a well timed finish from close range. Bucheon Football Club 1995 were nearly gifted a goal on 89 minutes through Kang Jae-Kwon’s lapse in concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity presented to them.
Both teams had a number of attempts at goal, which promised much, but the quality of finishing was poor throughout.
